In the intelligent substation, in case of system abnormality or fault, in addition to recording and analyzing the original network message, it is also necessary to analyze the network message and restore it to the records of primary equipment fault waveform and secondary equipment action events of the power system, so as to facilitate the analysis and rapid search of fault causes after the accident. The health status of the network is an important factor affecting the normal operation of the whole substation system. Therefore, in addition to recording the operation status and protection action behavior of the power grid, the intelligent substation also needs to monitor and record the communication status of the network, so as to analyze the causes of power grid faults from different levels.
The communication of intelligent substation applies IEC61850 standard, and various functions share a unified information platform, which strengthens the interoperability of equipment and avoids repeated input of equipment. The information transmission channel can be self checked with high reliability, which is easy to realize management automation.
In this way, we know that the intelligent substation is based on IEC61850 communication standard, that is, the electrical equipment in the intelligent substation needs to comply with IEC61850 communication standard, and the equipment that fails to meet the requirements needs to install IEC61850 protocol converter to meet the requirements. Similarly, If the fault recording device cannot meet the IEC61850 communication standard, it also needs to install a protocol converter to be applied to the intelligent station.
