The fault recorder is suitable for the monitoring of substation, power plant and other lines. It is generally divided into steady-state recording and transient recording. The steady-state recording is continuous recording, and the transient recording only occurs when the line fails, and the automatic recording designed in the software is stored in the transient folder. Basically, there is no need for manual operation. Only after the line fault occurs, it can be used as the basis for fault analysis and processing to check the time, status and distance of the fault line.
When there is a big disturbance in the power grid or unit, the fault recording device will start automatically, enter the starting recording process, and record in the following ways:
(a): Section A: data before the start of large disturbance of the system, the recording time length can be adjusted, the setting range is 100ms ~ 200ms, and the maximum sampling rate is 20000hz;
(b) section B: data in the later period of large disturbance of the system, the length of recording time can be adjusted, the setting range is 3000ms ~ 20000ms, and the sampling rate is the same as that in Section A;
Setting method of recording time length of transient wave recording: from the "system configuration" menu, enter the "wave recording device" main display interface for setting operation.
CPLD is responsible for the control of analog-to-digital conversion of all analog channels and the acquisition of switch channel status. CPLD will provide the absolute time label for each frame of data collected to DSP for reading. DSP will calculate in real time and process according to the starting criteria. Once the criteria are met, it will enter the wave recording state, the wave recording alarm relay will act, and the fault wave recording screen will turn on the wave recording indicator.
